Fincar (5mg)
?
Fincar is a drug that regrows visible, natural-looking hair.[1] Fincar has been shown to block the formation of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in men with male-pattern hair loss, and this can contribute to a decrease in or arrest of baldness. Clinical studies have demonstrated that men who took Fincar maintained or increased their numbers of visible scalp hairs and that many noticed an improvement in overall hair maintenance and growth.[2] Fincar is the only tablet for male-pattern hair loss approved for use worldwide. Data from double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trials first demonstrated the safety and efficacy of Fincar in 1,553 men aged 18 to 41 years old with mild-to-moderate male-pattern baldness (androgentic alopecia) in the vertex region (top of the head).[3] More than 90% of men who use Fincar get visible results.[4] Fincar is also used as a treatment in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in low doses, and in prostate cancer in higher doses.[5]

Dosage
You are advised to follow your doctors instructions carefully when taking this medication. The usual prescribed dose for adults is 1 tablet daily.

Side Effects
The reported side effects for medications containing Finasteride include decreased sexual desire and / or performance. These side affects have also be known to be less prevailing as the course of treatment continues and in some cases the side effects have been known to disappear altogether. Once the course of treatment has been completed sexual desire and performance is expected to return to normal.
Precautions
Women should avoid handling or taking Fincar. This is especially important for pregnant women because Finasteride has been linked to causing birth defects in children. Women are encouraged to consult their doctor or medical profession to obtain alternate sources of treatment for hair loss. You should also consult your doctor if are taking other medications including homeopathic treatments as well as Fincar. The combination of medications could cause serious side effects or otherwise reduce the effectiveness of Fincar. Generic Proscar should not be taken by children.
